Yes. I know. There's an xtra "S" in assunder in the title of this entry but it has a double meaning now. And I looove double meanings.
So now I know what it's like to disappear. Done it for a while. Wouldn't you say? Been so busy with work and the band recording. Especially work at this point. Can barely get into my work schedule as it is so out-of-whack. Or is it right smack dead in the center of whack? Yeah I don't know either.
Let's see. I've won a contest at work where we handed out coupons good for $2 off of a large pizza and put our name on them. They counted as a point for each one redeemed. I won the $25 prize. The money is gone. Went to gas haha This work schedule is kicking my wallet's ass as far as gas goes.
The band will hopefully finish recording our demo this weekend. We're redoing two of the songs that were on our original demo but of course they will sound how we've wanted them to all along, this time. And we swapped third songs with an incredible updated version of an older etheracide song. It's a great example of how we've changed as a band. We're incredibly excited! I will swap out the files on our site and our
myspace profile so that we can be heard as we should be. And the new site should be up pretty soon. Probably not the fully-interactive version i'm working on but atleast the static page. But we need the redesign because we're not what we once were. Chad and I have written a few awesome songs in the past week and we tried two of them at practice with the band on Saturday and they sound incredible already. Can't wait! The weekend after next we should be able to mix the demo and hopefully play an open mic at the bar that our former drummer's parents own. Will be our first "gig" with this lineup and should be a kickass time!
In the past 5 minutes I believe that we've found out where we're going to live. In a 3 bedroom house/apartment in Manayunk, PA which is a section of Philly. Which means that all three of us will be charged a wage tax on our salaries. Fuckin' Philadelphia wage tax. But each of us will have our own room and it will hopefully have the space for me to finally make use of my weight bench that's at my mom's. May have to ask to use her old bed as well as get my other furniture out of their garage. Well atleast it's the town in which our band practices so that should make that easier. But unfortunately the commute to/from work is going to suck even more than it does now. Especially since I drive back and forth atleast twice per day. And with the cost of gas going up...and my car insurance rates better not go up or else the $250/month we're saving with this place will disappear very, very quickly. Hopefully this isn't premature but thank you to all of you that have offered prayers and kept us in your thoughts about this topic...I believe it is helping.
Ugh. Have other points that I was going to hit but I need to make some food and get ready for The Walk even though my right knee hurts like hell. I have an ace bandage on it and will use Mineral Ice on it when I get back.
That's it for now. Lemme hear ya..and I'll be back SOON! =0)
Me, too. I've been fading in and out of the 'tang these days. But I'm back. FOr surely, yo! See ya latah. ;)

Haha, torn ASS-under.
I'm thinking about buying some free weights myself. A bench would be idea, but it's more expensive..
Food is for the weak!
