Time for a new, very simple design. I wanted a design that I thought would increase the readability of the site a bit. Unfortunately the black table is transparent as well. i was trying to keep it opaque but it's still easier to read than the Eagles layout. No I am not showing that I am somehow any less of a fan of theirs but as I had mentioned in a previous post, I just wanted something else.
The Evanescence show was incredible last night! Afterwards it all had that "dreamlike" quality because it had all of the elements that it should have. Which definitely makes you want to see them live again as soon as you possibly can because your mind can't hang on to quite enough to keep replaying it in your mind like a video. But it's more like an awesome dream that you're irritated in a manor of speaking for waking up during or after and keep trying to go back to sleep to continue/see it again.
The crowd was one of the loudest, not to mention highest-pitched, crowds that I may have ever been in and that's saying a lot because I have been to so many hundreds of concerts/shows over the years. The lighting. The crunching guitars. The driving bass. The M-F'ing insane drums! Amy Lee. Wait. Wait a second. Please wait another second. There we go.
Anyway. I went to work and everything went decently well throughout the day. But my boss called me and asked me if it would be possible to get Chad's work PDA and charger off of him to take in so she can pick it up for me. Well he doesn't have the charger here but I may be able to atleast that the PDA for now and give her the charger when he can get it from his previous residence. He'd better hope that they didn't do something with the charger or he'll have to pay for it. But if he doesn't get the PDA and his tools in, they will keep his last paycheck which is for a week and a day of work (about $450 after taxes) plus bill him for the other $550 for the rest of what the PDA cost and the tools they gave him to do his job.
I am just severely pissed that he didn't even call today. While I am working my ass off at work he isn't even bothering to call her and set something up. That $450 would help Jenn and I pay all of our combined bills until he can get another job..as well as pay for his food and transportation to get around to find a new one. But I've already told him that we couldn't pay our electric bills with his help completely each month and that was with a 9-10 hour period where no one was home so no electricity being used. But I told him no electrcity is to be used while we are at work. And now he keeps staying awake most of the night because he feels that he doesn't have to get up early for anything so that's more electricity being used while we are sleeping.
I mean...as long as he pays for his food and doesn't use extra electricity then we won't mind his being here until he can get another job to pay us again. But that is with the stipulation that he is actively (very actively) searching for another job to start paying us again ASAP. And of course not rack up more bills. Such as knowing that he was going to be fired and pay for pay-per-view movies.
Okay, yes...he did give us $10 for it. But seriously..that's $10 that we would have not had to pay to the cable company for the pay-per-view and could have put towards coming closer to paying rent/electric/cable..etc..But I think I may have to start unplugging the tv/surround sound system/dvd player/etc... and disconnect them from eachother to keep him from using them. He wouldn't figure out how to connect everything properly to use them. That's what I do. We have a very complex wiring system which I follow very easily. But he'll have no idea.
Of course it will be a pain in the ass to disconnect and then reconnect everything all of the time. But then we'll probably just not watch much of anything until he is employed again.
Well I am exhausted and need sleep. Have to work and then go to band practice tomorrow. We have to discuss an amazing show opportunity and tomorrow night we may have our next show booked already (which would be amazingly awesome) and I will post about it tomorrow night if we are officially booked.
Please leave comments about the design/layout/whatever and make me feel loooooooved.

I like...the only thing, the rivets aren't lining up very well. There's one in the middle of the box, but that's cool..maybe that's how you wanted it ;)
You can kick me now :) I was getting used to the Eagles thing...hehe...now it looks like we're hiding in a blue forest (okay, I'm twisted...)

ugh. I designed this layout in firefox and it looked fine in there. So I've redone it a bit to make it look better in IE. It still looks better in firefox but it looks better than it does in IE. Thank you for the heads up!

Read your comment bout being a whiz at the whole design thing in crochetmama's site. I have been tying to do up my site with no luck. Was pretty happy at one point but was shocked when I opened nutang on my friend’s laptop. All the trail and error on my com was useless cause of my wide screen. It looked terrible on a non wide screen. So frustrated.
